It goes without saying that at Entelec, we know all about communication protocols. We have been active in the integration and visualization of building, safety and security systems for more than 25 years. In these years, we have learned everything there is to know about the most (and less) known protocols like Modbus, BACnet, OPC, Https and so on.

Who can benefit from our free workshop ?

Now it's time to share our knowledge with you! If you are looking for extra information about the best practices of protocols, in various sectors and applications, our free protocol workshop is the perfect solution for you and your colleagues. If you, and your colleagues, are regularly confronted with making specification texts for example about the management software for technical, safety and security systems (PSIM), you already know what a tangle of terms and vague explanations it can be.

What topics will be addressed?

In the procotol workshop one of our experts (perhaps our very own CEO) will provide thorough insights into the different types of communication protocols, the best practices in linking systems, the functionalities that integration can provide and so on. The course will also end with a number of practical tips and tricks.

Most prominent procols

We make sure the most prominent communication protocols are thoroughly explained in the workshop: Modbus, BACnet, OPC, Https and so on. We'll explain the differences in open versus proprietary protocols, TCP versus UDP, event driven versus polling and much more.

Learn how to integrate

Integration is a business on it's own. We know how to do it, so it's time that you know all the in and outs about it too. Some of the system integrations that will be explained in the workshop are the following:

Where will it take place?

That's completely up to you. We can give the workshop at your office, or if you like, the workshop can take place in our very own auditorium in Diepenbeek, or even in the highest floor of the TT building in the center of Hasselt. Now that's a workshop with a view! We also have offices in France and the Netherlands if Hasselt is too far away. If the workshop takes place at one of our offices, there will be a nice lunch for you and all of your colleagues of course.

What does it cost you?

We hear you thinking, "What do you mean cost? You've just said over and over that it's completely free?". And you're right, it is free. The only thing that it will cost you is two hours of focus ;-).
