System Integration For Your Control Room
Find out how our Open Integration platform Sky-Walker is capable of integrating almost every type of system in one, central software solution. Our software is developed with modular system integration in mind.
What is System Integration?
System integration, in its very core, is the action of bringing together different subsystems into one central (software) system. The goal of system integration is providing an overarching, central tool that is capable of monitoring, commanding and managing the different connected subsystems. There are many types of results that come from integrating your systems in a PSIM software. The most important one is that operators, security personnel, technical staff and so on, only need to know how to work with the software. We, at Entelec, are able to integrate all the systems listed below into our Sky-Walker platform.
What kind of systems can be integrated?
Security systems
Learn about integrating access control, CCTV, intrusion systems and more.
Building systems
Learn about integrating HVAC, lighting, electricity and all other building system types.
How do we integrate systems?
Modular integration
The system can run on a single PC, or can be connected to a network by following the client/server model.
Communications
The communication between the different subsystems and the integration platform is done through Ethernet, using the TCP/IP protocol.
Configurations
The configuration depends on the amount of server resources needed in order to connect the different subsystems. Some of the possible configurations are a stand-alone configuration, a client-server configuration with one server or a client-server configuration with multiple servers.
Subsystems
All intelligent subsystems work autonomously and are connected to the Ethernet either directly or via a converter to enable communication with the Integration software.
