The Position
In order to further expand our business, we are looking for a 2nd IT/ DevOps Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team in Diepenbeek.
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive IT/DevOps Engineer to lead our technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of optimizing our IT systems, enhancing security, and driving efficiency through automation and cloud solutions.
You’ll take charge of designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and streamlining workflows to boost productivity. Your contributions will help align our technology strategy with business goals, enabling faster, reliable deployments and a stable, secure IT environment.

Your tasks and Responsibilities
• IT Security & Compliance: Implement ISO guidelines, develop security policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and disaster recovery. Manage directory structures and conduct regular backup checks.
• Employee IT Management: Handle IT onboarding and offboarding for employees. Administer user access to software tools (Office 365, JIRA, SharePoint) and manage IT licenses.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and updated IT documentation and inventory, providing structured reports for internal and external use.
• System & Application Support: Ensure smooth operation of IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage vendor support for maintenance and upgrades.
• Learning & Development: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and apply them to improve the organization’s IT environment.
• Strategic IT Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement IT strategies aligned with company goals.
• DevOps Functions: Set up and manage monitoring tools, automate processes, and design CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software deployment and testing.
• Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Collaboration & Communication: Actively collaborate with internal teams, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and participate in meetings and reviews.
The Role Suits You Because
• You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree (preferred) in IT/Computer science/Engineering/related field or equivalent working experience.
• You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT, DevOps, IT operations, IT projects. Experience in the security and safety industry is considered a big plus.
• You have an excellent spoken and written knowledge of Dutch and English. French is considered a plus.
• You are familiar with cloud platforms and cloud migration strategies.
• You have a strong expertise in security, cybersecurity, and information security practices.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well in cross-functional teams
• You take initiative and you are able to work autonomous.
• You have a solid understanding of IT infrastructures and network environments.
• You have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• You are capable of making sound decisions and managing priorities effectively.
• You have strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• You are detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework is considered a plus.
